There are many reasons behind the choice to buy a custom holster. Many southpaws can't find as large a selection of holsters as their right-handed brethren. Many women can't find a holster to fit their figure - since most guns are worn on the hip, and women's hips are quite different from men's hips. Some people may wish to carry a gun with a light or laser (or maybe even CZ75 with a bayonet...) and there aren't many concealment holsters for those items.

Other people may just want a holster that is nicer than what they can find on a store shelf or or more unique than they can find from a typical online retailer. Or maybe just something more fun than the usual "tactical" offerings... like a pink holster with butterflies and flowers! (Yes, a lady asked specifically for that!) We can also make unusual items like a WWII-style flap holster for a railed 1911 with a Surefire X2 light.
